I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. They have every available service to include on-site bloodwork; xrays; laser treatments, acupuncture;etc. The entire staff are amazing. They genuinely care about you and your pet. I trust them 100% for taking care of my pups.
Had to have an old dog put down. They were very caring and compassionate. Could not have asked for a better experience. Kind and caring. Had it done at my home. Will be using her for many years to come.
First impression was not great, by any means. I called in to schedule an appt to establish care, and to get needed vaccines. When checking in, I explained that we were due from one now, and one in 4 weeks, but previous vets recommended not getting the one early. I wanted to speak with the vet to review this, and some other general questions.
We were taken into the back, which was clearly their post-op/boarding/storage space, and two vet techs approached, very unfriendly with pre prepared needles in their hands. There was no greeting, no explanation, just an attempt to restrain our dog to give things that we weren't even positive we wanted this visit. Both techs were very defensive, telling us they were techs and could answer questions and we're just doing what the chart said, except that's not what we booked an appt for, nor is that what the chart said, because I watched the front desk make precise notes.
After being asked to remain in this utility area, we were then taking into a room (which holds no privacy), where we were finally greeting by one of the Vets/possible student, who was extremely nice.
We ended up needing some testing and medicine (of which they just came in and began to restrain to give, we weren't even informed of pricing before hand or other options), which we would not have received had we allowed techs to just restrain and give vaccines without even speaking to us first. We also were not allowed to restrain our own animal for exam or treatment, being moved out of the way for both instances, something I've never been declined or pushed out of the way for.
Front staff was very friendly and helpful.
Overall, our first impression is not great.
My whole family has used this vet office for 30+ years, we all adore Dr. Enoch and he was so great/caring to all your pet needs. But since he retired and new ownership has took over my views on this office has changed.
Especially the last visit when I took my dog in for unusually behavior, and was simply told she had arthritis, her hips were not good, and was overweight. 5 days later she was dead.
Mind you she was a 9 year old German Shepherd, she was perfectly fine. She never once acted like she had problems getting around, she spent must of her time running around our fenced in yard, always wanting to play fetch, and could out walk us on any walk. (Plus she’s a large breed dog, very common to have arthritis and prone to have bad hips)
We took her to the vet because when I got home from work, I let her outside to go to the bathroom for 10 mins. And when she came back in she was a different dog, I thought maybe she got stung or bite by something.
She would not stop pacing around, breathing really hard, just not her at all.
The vet we saw that day, since every time we have went it has been someone different. He was very Uncompassionate, rude, and even made it feel like he was shaming us since she was overweight. While he was explaining the X-rays he asked me if I saw what he was talking about and I said yes, and his response was “do you really or are you just saying you see it.”
I really did not believe that was the problem, but you’re suppose to trust a doctor, so that’s what we did. We were suppose to come back in a week to see if the medicine was working for her “back pain”, but she didn’t even make it 5 days. We lost apart of our family, and I believe if he would have took me a little more serious she might still be here today.
This clinic was wonderful when Enoch owned it, but unfortunately our experience has changed significantly under the new ownership.
We’ve had multiple negative experiences ourselves, and several friends and family members have as well. One particularly heartbreaking situation involved a friend’s dog that was taken in for unusual behavior. They were told the dog was simply overweight. Six days later, the dog passed away. They were charged for both the initial visit and the visit when they brought their dog back for cremation.
After our own experiences, we decided to switch veterinarians. Our dog is now 11 years old and doing well with our new vet.
Based on our experiences, I can’t recommend this clinic by any means.
